  1. INSTALLATION NOTES FOR CLASSIC CLIPS
  2. ====================================

  4. IMPORTANT!- This install does NOT set up the MS Video
  5. runtime drivers which are included and are required 
  6. to play .AVI full motion video. There is a seperate 
  7. installation routine for the MS Video Runtime. 
  8.  
  9. To install the MS Video Runtime select File, then Run
  10. from Program Manager. Then type X:\RUNTIME\SETUP (where
  11. X: is your CD Rom Drive letter) and press enter or select
  12. OK. 
  13.  
  14. Don't you just hate install programs that modify your 
  15. Windows files and directories without telling you what
  16. they do?  Well, we are a little bit more considerate than 
  17. that.  
  18.  
  19. None of the programs in Classic Clips modify any 
  20. Windows system files such as WIN.INI, or SYSTEM.INI.  
  21. However, the install program does create a Classic Clips 
  22. group. The Movie Time Screen Saver MVTIME.SCR is copied
  23. into your Windows directory.

  25. The following directory is created on your 
  26. hard drive:

  28. C:\CLIPDIR        Program directory for Clip Director
  29.             and Demo program.

  37. The Microsoft Video Runtime is a copywrited product, and is 
  38. included in this package under a license from Microsoft.  It is 
  39. not a public domain product and may not be freely copied or
